Ooooooooooo........scandal! Cat fight. Good old mudslinging. And suddenly, hours are lost. I already knew FB's stickiness was a contrived algorithm because of a great documentary called, "Social Dilemma." Now, another credible executive grows a concious.

Frances Haugen is going to be posting what she did today to her Facebook account...or is she?

Oh...she did!

Just kidding. What? She's only got 1,559 followers! Looooser. Why should we listen to her then? My waffling needing-validation-through-likes opinion aside, the Senate was all ears today. Social media got a shellacking today from ex-employee gone whistle-blower, Haugen. Go to PBS (hahaaaa, you searched the web with google, right?) to watch her testimony.

With new media comes fraught outcomes. Look at history; starting with the oral storyteller. Image how much confusion, manipulation, irritation—not to mention loose of possible benefits the truth has—that could come from a singular person. It doesn't have to be malice. It only has to be obscured by personal observation. Get more sources. Stop using editorialized media to make the logical leaps. Perhaps, given the facts, un-inflamed, a conversation could be had, where before only an opinion existed.
