A Vulcan Hello to you too.
Don't know what television TV dinner you grew up on, but for me, a sci fi lover even at an early age, it was a steady diet of Star Trek reruns.
Deep in my greeting lexicon is this visual image of a straightened hand with its 2nd and 3rd fingers spread away from one another to form a "V" for Vulcan. Billions of lights years away, Vulcans use this hand sign to show respect and honor of a physical meeting. No they don't exist, and yet, at the age of eight, I knew how Vulcans—if they were real—would greet each other. I hadn't a clue how Africans or Indians or Scandinavians might say hello.
Fascinating how culture, American, teaches more through Holywood than Elementary School. Perhaps if great writers and directors where given the billions of dollars public education receives, I'd know my multiplication tables.
Whether you're drinking your morning coffee, evening tea, or something in between—this mug's for you! It's sturdy and glossy with a vivid print that'll withstand the microwave and dishwasher.
