CUP #297 coffee cup collection

In the 365 days..well, 297 of them, my inner ego has battled. When I committed to the project, I unconsciously knew one of my tests would be the time constraints and volume of content demanded verses the ability to execute a relavent conversation.

Soon...a monster appeared: my ego. Every day is a small battle with my personal perception. I have been educated, trained, and committed to creative content since UGA, journalism school major and graphic design minor. I trained at Portfolio Center and dedicated myself to becoming an acclaimed advertising art director, then developing my intellectual fine art voice, and finally, charging myself with reinventing the expectations, mediums, and audience of a fine artist. Yeah, I have gained a creative ego. So...could my ability preserve my confidence?

Would I have to warp reality for my personal definition to match the output?

Trite; can be an exercise in humiliation. Sometimes, letting the internal valve release, and the ego rest is paramount. Holding yourself, and your work, and your ideas, and your beliefs too seriously is to deny perspective. The ability to be humble is intrinsic in the risk of judgement.

Today, I succumb to whimsy. Quotation marks with consciousness. Could these witnesses to reality hold humans to accountability? Almost like little Gods of thought and deed. :)
