Often the simplicity of the line can bring the complexity of the human exchange more into focus. The figures are surrounded in white space, their environment of no importance, so a story of personal exchange developes.
It seems like a simple endeavor, to walk next to someone. Yet, if not present, preoccupied by the chaos of tasks or events in our future, the person next to us can remain unseen.
Perhaps it is an empty parking lot wandered or a stroll along a neighborhood street where an exchange of levity happens. Where someone next to you becomes more understood, more earnest, more human.
