The Giving Bush inspired this CUP. Similar to the children’s book the “Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein, I have a botanical that is being selfless. This bush has become a racetrack for my two canines to run and play around. So much so that the base of the plant has lost most of it’s soil. And yet, still no roots show. I fill in the deficit with mulch and soil but the fun is too much to be denied. The dogs run and the bush remains steadfast at the center of their complete joy.
Does it know? Today, science say, “undoubtably.”
