If you have had your COVID-19 vaccination, may this cup be reminder that you are a human warrior, a battle axe to future suffering, an agent of mercy to future generations. Today, I got my second Covid shot. Hoping that I am well enough from COVID-19 that I won’t get extremely ill from the vaccination. Yet, I didn’t want to wait because my first shot was seven weeks ago.
Even though I had Covid, I still made the choice to get fully vaccinated. I hope you do too. Why? There are 14 reasons and listed on CUP#75. All 14 viruses that have virtually gone into extinction were wrestled to the ground, isolated, and obliterated because people like me, hopefully you, and others for generations got vaccinated. Everyone should want to get vaccinated. The people of the world have an opportunity to irradicate a virus. Now is the time to snuff out COVID-19. If your young or healthy and don’t fear the virus or your health is the reason you fear the vaccination, the reality of science and disease is that more people who refuse vaccination, the more misery and pain will befall our world for it. Unless a doctor’s professional opinion is remain vaccination-free, the unvaccinated is making a conscious choice that will complicate and possibly hurt future generations...because they are the people who will still be dealing with an outsized pandemic.
Imagine if all 14 of the viruses above were still raging because our collective forefather’s were worried about the effects of a vaccination? Sometimes, like in the times of war, our country asks us to make a sacrifice. This is call to duty.
